IKEA recall LOCK and HYBY ceiling lamps

IKEA Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain LOCK and HYBY ceiling lamps.

IKEA has received customer reports of these ceiling lamp glass shades falling. In a few cases medical treatment was required.

The HYBY and LOCK ceiling lamps have been sold in all IKEA markets, LOCK since 2002 and HYBY since 2012.

What to do:

IKEA urges customers who have a LOCK or HYBY ceiling lamp to immediately remove it and bring it back to any IKEA store for a full refund.

Alternatively, please contact their Exchange & Returns department or call Customer Services on 015413302 to return your LOCK or HYBY ceiling lamps for a full refund.
