November 13, 2012

Water or other liquids may enter the driver’s side power window switch which can result in failure of the switch and overheating. An overheating switch may cause smoke or melting or, in extreme cases, fire.

Affected vehicles were manufactured between 2002 and 2006.

This recall involves 2,136 vehicles in Ireland.

What to do:

If you believe that you may be affected by this problem, please contact your local Honda dealer who will arrange for an inspection of your vehicle and free re-fit if necessary.  You can get more information from Honda Ireland on (01) 6423100 or by emailing customerservice@honda.ie
