Gowan Distributors Limited recalls certain Peugeot passenger vehicles

Gowan Distributors Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Peugeot passenger vehicles.

The vehicles affected and their manufacture dates are listed below:

• 2008 I: Vehicles manufactured between 2017/12/07 and 2019/03/08
• 208 I: Vehicles manufactured between 2017/02/01 and 2019/04/12
• 301: Vehicles manufactured between 2017/09/06 and 2019/03/29

A safety issue has been identified, whereby NOx emissions could be outside of regulatory limits due to wrong engine calibration tuning. High emissions of NOx are harmful to the environment.

The recall affects 796 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Gowan Distributors Limited will directly contact all affected customers advising them to make an appointment with their local Authorised Repairer where any necessary repairs will be carried out.
