Gowan Distributors Limited recalls certain “Peugeot 5008 II” passenger vehicles

Gowan Distributors Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain “Peugeot 5008 II” passenger vehicles. The affected vehicles were produced between 19 March 2018 and 6 February 2019.

A safety issue has been identified, whereby it is possible that due to the insufficient tightening of the screw of the spare wheel this may result in the spare wheel unscrewing and may result in an accident due to the loss of the spare wheel.

The recall affects 894 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Gowan Distributors Limited will directly contact all affected customers advising them to make an appointment with their local Authorised Repairer where any necessary repairs will be carried out.
