Ford recalls Fiesta

Ford Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of Fiesta produced between 01/01/2012 and 29/08/13.

Fiesta vehicles fitted with a diesel engine glow plug control module can be affected by water ingress which could potentially result in a fire.

There have been 747 affected vehicles placed on the Irish market.

What to do:

Customers will be notified directly by post by Ford inviting them to contact their nearest Ford dealer to arrange for the necessary work to be carried out as soon as possible. All work carried out as part of this recall will be free of charge.
