Ford Cabriolet and Ranger recall

Ford Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of a number of its Cabriolet and Ranger vehicles.

Ford Cabriolet

This recall is due to a potential overheating of wiring components due to corrosion. Affected vehicles have a manufacture date from 1 June 2006 to 30 April 2007. There are 72 vehicles in Ireland affected.

Ford Ranger  

In some cases the rear seat may become dislodged. Affected vehicles have a manufacture date from 5 September 2011 to 10 May 2012. There are 17 vehicles in Ireland affected by this recall.

What to do:

Customers will be notified directly by post by Ford inviting them to contact their nearest Ford dealer to arrange for the necessary work to be carried out as soon as possible. All work carried out as part of this recall will be free of charge.
