Decathlon Sports Ireland Limited recalls ‘B’Twin 100 Bclip’ bicycle seat products

Decathlon Sports Ireland Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of their ‘B’Twin 100 Bclip’ bicycle seat products, which were sold between 01 October 2018 and 20 November 2019.

The safety issue identified is that under certain circumstances, it is possible that the buckle may break which could result in the child occupant falling out of the seat and getting injured.

6 units of this product have been sold in the Republic of Ireland.

Affected Product Identification

If the front of the black buckle attachment point, presents a turquoise blue line running across it, then it is possible that you may have an affected product. The images below will assist you in identifying whether your bicycle seat is affected. The affected product model code is 2538309.

What to do:

If you believe that you may have purchased an affected product then you are advised to stop using it immediately and contact Decathlon’s Customer Care on 0877930680 / 01 2934952 or alternately, by email to help.ireland@decathlon.com. The helpline is available from Monday to Friday (9 am to 6 pm).
