Citroën recall

January 25, 2011

Citroën is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain batches of its C4, C4 Picasso, C5 II, C5 (X7), and Dispatch II models.

Citroën’s quality follow up procedures have identified a potential issue in the affected vehicles. In rare cases the vacuum pump valve may have difficulty opening, occasionally limiting braking assistance.

The recall involves 294 vehicles on the Irish market.

What to do:

Letters will be sent by Citroën dealers to the owners of the affected vehicles informing them of the recall and asking that they arrange for an appointment to have any required work completed.

The work carried out as part of the recall will be completed free of charge.
