Chevrolet Captiva, Matiz, Epica, Lacetti, Kalos and Aveo recall

Chevrolet Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Captiva, Matiz, Epica, Lacetti, Kalos and Aveo models.

This voluntary recall is being carried out as Chevrolet has detected that certain Chevrolet vehicles may in some instances experience spongy brakes, increased brake pedal travel and in some cases reduced brake pedal performance.

This recall concerns the following models:

Epica	116 affected vehicles in Ireland	May 2008- 2010
Lacetti	764  affected vehicles in Ireland	May 2007 – 2008
Kalos/Aveo	2348 affected vehicles in Ireland	May 2009-2011

What to do:

Letters will be sent by Chevrolet Ireland to owners of the affected vehicles advising them to contact their local dealer.  Any work carried out as part of this recall will be free of charge.
