B&Q is carrying out a voluntary recall of their PP 400W Random Orbit sander NLH401ROS (Barcode: 05106769). It was offered for sale between July 2006 and January 2011.

B&Q has identified a potential risk of injury when using this product where the internal metal fan can fail and fragments could break through the plastic casing.

Please note that only the product detailed in this notice is at risk.  All other sanders sold by B&Q are unaffected.

What to do:

If you have purchased this product you should stop using it immediately and return it to your local store where a refund to the value of your purchase will be given.
