B&Q recalls certain ‘WHOOSH’ Chrome effect ceiling fan lights

B&Q has identified a safety issue for the below listed WHOOSH Chrome Ceiling Fan range. There may be a risk that the blades of the fan detaches whilst in use which could cause injury.

The products have been on sale since 2008.

46,608 units of these products have been sold in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Available corrective measures includes exchange, refund or receiving replacement blades. If you believe you have purchased this product then you are advised to stop using it immediately and you should contact the B&Q helpline on 1800 946 327 for further information and assistance.
