Boots recalls ‘Umberto Giannini Big Blow Out’ hairdryer

Boots is recalling the ‘Umberto Giannini Big Blow Out’ hairdryer.

Under certain conditions the internal motor of the dryer can develop a fault, allowing pieces of plastic to fall from the nozzle of the dryer while in use. Affected products were sold in Boots stores from October 2010.

What to do:

If you have bought this hairdryer since October 2010 stop using it immediately. Return it to your nearest Boots store where you will be offered an alternative product or a full refund.
