Audi recalls certain ‘Q3’ passenger vehicles

A voluntary recall is being carried out by Audi Ireland, on certain Audi Q3 passenger vehicles. The vehicles affected were produced between 2014 and 2018.

A safety issue has been identified, due to a configuration error in the function control device of the Body Control Module (BCM), failure of the front LED blinker is not always detected. The required warning (acoustic/optical) is not given in such cases.

This recall affects 83 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do

Vehicle owners will be contacted directly by Audi Ireland and asked to bring their vehicles to an authorised repairer where necessary repairs/replacement of parts will be carried out.
