B&Q product safety notice, Mac Allister 3X7 and 2X8 Combination Ladders

B&Q would like to draw all customers’ attention to a vital safety feature of these ladders, in order to avoid risk of a serious injury.

Always ensure that the bottom stabiliser bar is fitted correctly before any use.

Failure to assemble correctly could result in collapse and possible serious injury. These ladders were on sale between 25 July 2016 and 5 September 2017.

What to do

If your ladder does not have the stabiliser bar available, do not use it. B&Q advice is to contact the B&Q helpline by telephone 1800 946 327* to order the replacement parts.
