Product Safety Information Notice on Cat Paw Squishy toy sold on the TEMU platform

A safety issue has been identified with a Cat Paw Squishy toy sold by KRAIDAY on the TEMU platform. 

A packaged squishy toy shaped like a pink paw with black edges and white pads, sealed in clear plastic. The top of the package has a colorful label with text in multiple languages. The English instructions read: “Squeeze by hand.” Other languages include German, French, Spanish, and Italian. The label also has playful graphics and phrases like “Emotional release” and “Relieve stress.”The back of the same package showing a white label with dense printed text in black. It includes manufacturer details, safety warnings, compliance symbols (CE, recycling icons), and multilingual instructions. The squishy toy is partially visible through the clear plastic, appearing black from this angle.

The risk reported to the CCPC is chemical, due to exposure to restricted phthalates over permitted limits.  Exposure to phthalates can harm children’s health by potentially damaging their reproductive system.

The model number is JY100. The bar code is 7144531495. The batch number is 24100112. The Product identifier is 17592741866678.

There are approximately 103 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Customers should stop using the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.
