Product Safety Information Notice on Interactive luminous snail toy sold on the TEMU platform

A safety issue has been identified with an Interactive luminous snail toy sold on the TEMU platform.

 

The risk reported to the CCPC is choking, burns and chemical. The toy has small parts which can easily detach. The battery compartment can also be easily opened, leaving the button batteries accessible. A child may put the small parts and batteries in the mouth and swallow them, which could cause damage to the child’s gastrointestinal tract and lead to choking. In addition, the toy may overheat and cause burns.

The model number is RS-9024 C. The Unique Product identifier is 601099525829049.

There are approximately 79 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Customers should stop using the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.

Temu has contacted affected consumers regarding this recall on behalf of the seller, and reimbursements have been issued to those impacted.
