Product Safety Information Notice on LED Tutu sold on the TEMU platform

A safety issue has been identified with an LED Tutu sold on the TEMU platform.

The risk reported to CCPC are burns, chemical and choking. The button batteries are accessible, and a child could swallow them resulting in damage to the child’s gastrointestinal tract and choking. Also, if the costume catches fire, the speed of flame propagation is very fast and may cause burns to the child wearing it.

The type/number of model is CF-001-CS. The batch number is 230758.

There are approximately 77 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Customers should stop using the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.

Temu has contacted affected consumers regarding this recall on behalf of the seller, and reimbursements have been issued to those impacted.
