Honda recalls certain motorcycles

January 11, 2022

Two Wheels Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Honda CMX1100DM motorcycles.

The affected products were produced between April 2021 and August 2021.

A safety issue has been identified with the affected products where in the cooling system of the engine, the die for moulding the radiator cap was improperly managed, so some of them have insufficient sealant performance due to small overlap allowance with the filler neck. If the vehicle is used continuously in this condition, high temperature coolant may leak from the overflow tube.

There are approximately 8 affected motorcycles in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Two Wheels Limited will directly contact all affected customers advising them to make an appointment with their local Authorised Repairer were any necessary repairs/replacements of parts will be carried out.

If you believe that your vehicle may be impacted by this recall, then you can contact Two Wheels Limited on (01) 438 1900 or email hello@hondaireland.com
