Mercedes-Benz recalls certain passenger vehicles

March 27, 2020

Mercedes-Benz are carrying out a voluntary recall of certain passenger vehicles. The vehicle models affected are A-Class, B-Class, CLA and SL and were manufactured between January 2013 and June 2013.

An issue has been identified, whereby use of the refrigerant R134a in the air conditioning system means that the vehicles in question do not meet the requirements of the type approval.

This recall affects 355 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Mercedes-Benz will directly contact all affected customers advising them to make an appointment with their local Mercedes-Benz service organisation to adapt the air conditioning systems of the affected vehicles.
