What to do:

  1. Check the model number of your Hotpoint dishwasher. This can be found on a sticker on the inside edge of either the right or left hand side of the door. The serial number (S/N) is 9 digits long. If the first 5 digits are between 60601 and 70331 your appliance is affected.
  2. If you have one of these models, or if you are unsure if you do, call the Hotpoint/Indesit customer service line on 0818 776188, (Monday to Friday 08:00am to 6:30pm, Saturday 8.30am to 5.30pm, Sunday 9.30am to 3.30pm), or contact Hotpoint by email at fdw-ie@hotpoint.co.uk
  3. You can also check online at http://www.hotpointservice.ie and Hotpoint will arrange for an engineer to visit your home and make a free-of-charge repair.
  4. While you are waiting for an engineer to visit, Hotpoint recommend not to leave the dishwasher unattended while in use.
