Christmas hours for merger notifications

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is advising parties who intend to submit merger notifications during the Christmas period of the following arrangements:

| Thursday 23 December | Open 9am – 3pm |
| Friday 24 December- Christmas Eve | Open 9am – 12pm |
| Monday 27 December | Closed |
| Tuesday 28 December | Closed |
| Wednesday 29 December | Open 9am – 3pm |
| Thursday 30 December | Open 9am – 3pm |
| Friday 31 December – New Year’s Eve | Open 9am – 12pm |
| Monday 3 January 2022 | Closed |
Please note that for the purposes of determining the appropriate date under the Competition Act 2002 (as amended), where the notification and all supporting documents are not fully received by the above daily deadline, the CCPC will consider the date of receipt of the notification to be the next working day.
Digital Notifications
The CCPC will draw your attention to the recent changes to the CCPC Merger Notification Procedure, in particular, all merger notifications (including all supporting documentation) are to be submitted in electronic format only to mergers@ccpc.ie.
