In October 2018 the CCPC served a compliance notice on Greenhill Motors of Drogheda, Co Louth. The enforcement action arose on foot of an inspection carried out at the business premises. After investigating the history of a vehicle it was found that the mileage given by Greenhill Motors when advertising the car for sale was false.
A compliance notice was also served on Jalal Khan, a director of Greenhill Motors, who engaged in a prohibited commercial practice by giving the impression he was not acting as a trader when advertising the vehicle for sale on a website, when in fact he was.
