CapVest is a mid-market private equity firm headquartered in London. CapVest has invested in businesses in continental Europe, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Ireland and North America. Valeo Foods and the Eight Fifty Food Group are the only portfolio companies owned or controlled by CapVest which are active in the State.

Valeo Foods is active in the production and distribution of ambient food products in the State.

The Eight Fifty Food Group is active in the fish and seafood business in the UK through its Young's Seafood Limited business, and the processing and sale of meat (primarily pig meat) in the State through its Karro Food Group Limited business.

M&M Walshe Holdings Limited

M&M Walshe is headquartered in Ireland and supplies branded and unbranded meat products to the Irish, UK and other European markets.

M&M Walshe supplies gammon joints and rashers to own-label retail customers in the State through its Callan Bacon Subsidiary.

Through its Ribworld subsidiary it offers branded and unbranded slow cooked meat products to retailers, caterers and consumers.
