Mergers over a certain financial threshold must be notified to the CCPC for review to ensure they do not substantially lessen competition. In doing this we protect the interests of consumers.

Notification of a merger or acquisition must be done by completing and submitting the notification form to the CCPC. The form specifies the information required from the notifying parties and gives guidance on issues relevant for making a notification.
