Compliance Notice - The Temple Bar Tavern Limited
The Temple Bar Tavern Limited (‘the trader’) was required under the relevant legislation to display a notice in the bar area specifying each kind of beverage (whether alcoholic or not), including quantities, measures or units thereof, and the price charged for same, which were on sale in the premises. During an inspection at the trader’s premises at Fitzsimons Temple Bar, 21–22 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2, the CCPC found the trader to be in breach of this requirement.
The CCPC served a Compliance Notice on the trader, which took effect on 6 October 2025, directing it to display in the bar area of the premises, in a clearly visible and legible form, a notice specifying the full charge list for each kind of beverage on sale, whether alcoholic or not, together with the price charged for the quantities, measures, or units for each such kind of beverage.
