The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) notes the judgments delivered on 29 May 2017 by the Supreme Court in CRH plc, Irish Cement Limited and Seamus Lynch v The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
Given the complexity of the issues involved, the CCPC is carefully considering the judgments and assessing their implications for the CCPC’s search powers.
The CCPC has a number of current investigations all of which are ongoing.
