December 30, 2021

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has announced its continued sponsorship of the popular RTÉ series, ‘How to be Good with Money’, which returns for a fourth series on Thursday 6 January 2022 at 8.30pm.

Each week, financial planner Eoin McGee will work with a household to sort through their finances in order to meet their personal goals. Working with eight real-life families and individuals dealing with very real and different financial challenges, Eoin’s practical advice empowers participants to take control of their money.

Grainne Griffin, Director of Communications with the CCPC, says:

‘The CCPC is delighted to partner with RTÉ again as sponsor of ‘How to be Good with Money’ which will launch on RTÉ 1 on  6 January 2022. For many consumers, the new year can bring some very tough financial challenges as energy costs rise and Christmas credit repayments fall due. ‘How to be Good with Money’ continues to provide real and practical advice to consumers who want to have more control over their finances in 2022, or change how they manage their money so they can reach personal life goals.

The CCPC also encourages consumers to visit our website ccpc.ie for independent information on financial services and products. Our online money tools also help consumers to compare the rates, charges and features of financial products available on the market, including mortgages, loans, credit cards, current accounts and savings accounts, so they can choose the product that best suits their needs.

Meanwhile, our Money Skills for Life team are available to deliver free, independent, online and in-person workshops to workplaces and community groups on how to best manage your money and increase your financial wellbeing in 2022.
