World Consumer Rights Day 2021
March 15, 2021
Every year 15 March is recognised as ‘World Consumer Rights Day,’ a subject close to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission’s (CCPC) heart.
World Consumer Rights Day 2021 has particular relevance this year, due to the extraordinary global events following the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the impacts of Brexit which have resulted in new challenges for consumers.
Sometimes we all need a little help to know what our rights are. From booking holidays to buying second hand cars – the CCPC is here to help. Our website provides information about a wide range of consumer topics and issues. We even have a dedicated COVID-19 Hub and a Brexit Hub. You can also speak to an independent consumer rights agent by calling the CCPC’s dedicated helpline on 01 402 5555.
