Commission secures compensation orders against Dublin car trader

The Commission has today secured compensation orders against Mr Brian Fassnidge, a Dublin car trader formerly operating at Motorcity, Naas Road, Dublin 22, for giving two consumers misleading information about cars they bought. Mr Fassnidge was sentenced to pay €10,000 in costs, €4,000 in fines and €1,000 in compensation to the affected consumers. This is in addition to the €17,200 which Mr. Fassnidge has repaid to consumers – a total of €32,200.
